What does Black-Tie Optional mean?
With this dress code, tuxedos aren't required, but men are encouraged to wear a tux if desirable. Otherwise, they can select a formal suit and tie. For women, floor-length gowns are still encouraged, but cocktail dresses are completely acceptable.
Details to remember when selecting your outfit:
The whole event will be several hours long and dancing will be strongly encouraged. So, please select accommodating shoes or bring a back-up pair. Late October weather in Savannah, GA averages between 60 to 79 degrees. Either long sleeves, a light jacket, shawl, or light sweater may be needed.
